My past actions have caused everyone so much pain.
A trail of forgiveness is needed, and will fall like rain.
Decisions and choices are not remarkable.
If we seek peace from the past it’s unshakeable.
My prayer before I leave this earth is that you would, please, forgive me.

I know you don’t owe me a single thing.
If you can find it in your heart, please, let forgiveness ring.
I feel I can do nothing to make this right,
If I do nothing, then doing something is my fight.
I am sorry for all the years you cried,
The words came in the form of a poem as I tried.

If my life was a book, please, turn the page,
My emotions are like an animal going from cage to cage.
Does one action define a person as a whole?
Life is moving by fast, God is in control
Changing from the past to who we are supposed to be.
These words are genuine, please, forgive me.
