It hurt watching the chaos of the world when I can’t do anything about it.
I have learned it’s all right to cry.
I do it.
When I watched the funeral for George Floyd, I cried.
I stood in silence for 8min 46sec.
I humbled myself.
Now I speak.
I have been changed because of this.
I see me in a different light.
The way I sing.
The music I write now comes from a different place.
Racism, discrimination,
inequality or whatever you want to call it. It’s spiritual wickedness.
Tell me, where does brutality fit into “One Nation Under God.”
We must stop dancing around the truth. Racism is a Disease. With a needed solution.
We’re past needing a vaccine.
We need a cure.
Aren’t you tired of hate and destruction? Famine and disease?
Mental struggle has gotten old.
Love me.
Allow me to love you.
It’s time to love one another.
Don’t you agree?
